Matthew 7:11 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!"

Romans 5:12-14 "Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—for until the Law sin was in the world; but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come."

Romans 6:3-11 Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? Hebrews 10:10, 12, 14 "By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. . . . But He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God. . . . For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified."

Hebrews 7:15-25 "And this is clearer still, if another priest arises according to the likeness of Melchizedek, who has become such not on the basis of a law of physical requirement, but according to the power of a life indestructible. For it is witnessed of Him, 'You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.' Colossians 1:27 "to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."

1 John 5:11-12 "And the witness of God is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life."

1 Corinthians 2:14 "But a man who is motivated-and-controlled-through-his-soul does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are discerned through the spirit."

1 Corinthians 15:44 "it is sown a body motivated-and-controlled-by-the-soul, it is raised a body motivated-and-controlled-by-the-spirit. If there is a body pertaining-to-the-soul, there is also a body pertaining-to-the-spirit."

This is the clear teaching of the separation of the soul and spirit.
