I then say to them,

"Whether you believe in predestination or not is irrelevant. Jesus tells us in His word that to know him is to obey Him. He commands you to go out and share the Gospel with men. He also says in His Word that if you do not obey Him, you do not know Him, that you are a liar and that the truth is not in you. You must be one of those people destined to go to hell!"

We are saved by faith as we shared in Chapters 8-9 of this Section, but John tells us that one of the evidences of a person being truly saved is his obedience to Jesus’ commands. Whether you believe in predestination or not is irrelevant. What is relevant is that if you claim to know Jesus but do not obey Him, God’s Word states that you are a liar. A person who is saved does not look for reasons not to obey Jesus, he loves Jesus and wants to obey Him. If you say you are a Christian and a predestinationist and argue against obeying Jesus, I can only conclude that you are a liar, that you are not saved, that you are one of those destined to go to hell. What I need to do then is share the Salvation Tract with you.

We are never wasting our time when we are sharing the word of God. God’s Word is SPIRITUALLY-ALIVE. As soon as a person hears the Word of God, it goes to work immediately in his heart. But before there is a harvest the seed must grow, be nurtured. This is why we must never get discouraged when sharing the Gospel regardless of the immediate visible results, you are bearing fruit in your efforts.

It is not just unbelievers that need to hear the Gospel, believers need to hear the Gospel also. There are many Christian cults and many lies of Satan that he uses against God’s people to lead them astray and to oppress them. When a Christian has been deceived he is not aware of it. How can he or she be brought back to reality? When we come to there doors and share Jesus with them and the subjects come up, we are then able to point out to them the truths of God’s Word. The truth of God’s Word is what frees us of our bondages and is what releases faith in those who do not know Jesus.

Because I have consistently weekly shared the Gospel for thirty-four years, I can tell you that on the average for me about one out of every sixteen people I talk to receives Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. At more fruitful times one out of three.

A couple of years ago I was sharing the Gospel daily on college campuses in Fresno, California. In the fall semester I can honestly say I brought at least one person a week to Salvation in Jesus Christ. Then one weekend while having my quiet time, the Lord spoke to me in my heart and told me it was time for a harvest. The next six people I shared the Gospel with received Jesus Christ. I had sowed seed, watered, fertilized, weeded and at the end of the season the harvest. This sowing and farming time lasted six months before I had a harvest.

Jesus needs every one who claims to be a follower of Him to put in weekly time on the field sharing the Gospel. If America is turning away from God, it is not because God is turning away from America. America is turning away from God because there is a vacuum of the Word of God in society. No amount of legislation, police and armies can change people’s lives and put restraint on society. Only God’s Word with the quickening convicting work of the Holy Spirit can change people’s lives.

Man without Christ is already dead. If society is decaying and becoming more immoral, it is an indication of the lessening of the work of the people of God in weekly Evangelism spreading God's word, not the increase of decay in society. This is because the Word of God is the Sword of the Holy Spirit by which He convicts men of their sins and need of salvation through Jesus Christ. After the Apostle Paul explained that Salvation is received by faith through believing God's promises concerning Jesus Christ, he then asks why God then gave us the law? He explains:

"Why the Law then? It was added because of transgressions, having been ordained through angels by the agency of a mediator, until the seed should come to whom the promise had been made." (Gal 3:19)

The Law saves no one, but it does put restraint on the potential of evil of a person’s heart. Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes 8:11,

"Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed quickly, therefore the hearts of the sons of men among them are given fully to do evil."

Paul wrote in Philippians 3:18-20,

"For many walk of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ, whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their minds on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ."

The Apostle Paul tells us that for a Christian to chase after the world is to make him or herself an enemy of Jesus Christ. Why? Because our citizenship is not here, but in heaven. Once we have turned to Jesus and given our lives to Him, he leaves us on this earth not to pursue after and gain the world, but to do whatever we can with the resources we have to bring others to Jesus Christ. Our citizenship is no longer on this earth. it is in heaven. Our home is not here, our home is in heaven. Heaven is where our heart and investments need to be, not on this earth. Once you receive Christ you are automatically put in His army and your place of service becomes planet earth. We are at war. Men and women are destined for hell and our orders are to do whatever is necessary, even to the loss of all material things and to the giving of our lives if called to, to bring others to Jesus Christ. For this reason Paul wrote in Colossians 3:1-3,

"If then you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God."

Jesus said about giving of our time to share the gospel,

"Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and for the gospel’s sake, but that he shall receive a hundred times as much now in the present age, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life." (Mark 10:29-30)

Jesus promises us in this passage that if we give of our free time to Him to share Him with others that He will give us one-hundred times more than we could accumulate for ourselves through our own efforts. In light of these promises, to not give of ourselves to Jesus in this way is unbelief; it is telling Jesus that He is not good, that He does not love us and that His promises are not true. Jesus tells us to "seek-continually first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you" (Matthew 6:33).

Your goal in presenting this the Evangelism Tract The Most Loving Thing You Can Do! is the same as in sharing the Salvation Tract which is to motivate the Christian to make a prayer of commitment to Jesus to use his or her life to share Jesus with others. Therefore, when you get to the last page, you want to say to them: "Would you like to pray right now and commit Your free time to Jesus to share His love and forgiveness with others?" If they say they would, then pray the prayer on page 13 with them.
