| Evangelism: Student Testimony By Nenita L. Kruse Back to Student Evaluations Page
Dear Ann: May the love and the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be upon you upon reading this letter of encouragement. Ann, I have good news for you my friend. Praise the Lord! I have just finished the evangelism training program titled Evangelism: the Time Is Now! I want to encourage you to go through this training program. You will learn a lot specifically in the area of Evangelism. I remember when you told me eight years ago that Evangelism is not your calling or desire nor your gift. Yes, it is true that Evangelism is a spiritual gift that not all Christians have, but the Gift of Evangelism is not preaching the Gospel. What then is the Gift of Evangelism? The Apostle Paul explains in Ephesians 4:11-12 "And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ" Ann, since you already have the book, I encourage you to begin the training program. Chapter 1 titled "Evangelism Is Not a Spiritual Gift" tells you that Evangelism is the responsibility of all Christians, that we all need to do evangelism. Chapter 1 of Section 5 titled "Evangelism: the Responsibility of All Christians" reminds us that Jesus states that He wants us to be boiling hot in our relationship with Him. Do you remember sharing with me that I am boiling hot in sharing the Word of God, extreme as you put it? I responded "I would rather be boiling hot in sharing the goodness of Jesus Christ then cold." Well Jesus Christ said in Revelation 3:15-16, "I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor boiling-hot; I would that you were cold or boiling-hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither boiling-hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth." What did Jesus mean when He said He wants us to be boiling hot in our relationship with Him? He means that He wants us to be boiling hot in doing violence to our flesh to get close to Him to overcome our fears to live for Him. Ann, every Chapter and section of this Textbook are wonderful. They teach us so much about Evangelism. Chapter 11 of Section 1 is titled "The Most Loving Thing You Can Do." The most loving thing we can do for another person is to share the love of Jesus Christ with them; this is because the only way a person gets to Heaven is by what they do with Jesus. Ann, the author of this Textbook is my encourager and loving teacher through His writings. It is a great privilege and blessing for any believer and Church to go through this Evangelism Training Program. Pastor-Evangelist Dale P. Kruse experienced a lot of wonderful miracles in writing and producing this wonderful Textbook on Evangelism. I highly recommend it to any believer, Church or Christian College. I look forward to your sharing with me what Jesus teaches you as you pursue and go through this Evangelism Training Program titled Evangelism: the Time Is Now! Sincerely in Jesus,
