Evangelism Tract Illustrated

My spiritual calling is Evangelism Overseeing Teaching. I am an Evangelist called to be a Pastor. My primary calling is to motivate and train Christian Laymen in Evangelism. Realizing how valuable a Salvation Tract is in aggressive Evangelism, I began a few years ago to cry out to God for an Evangelism tract to aggressively share with Christians. The Evangelism Tract titled The Most Loving Thing You Can Do! was the end result. How did I come up with this title? Several years ago while working for a company on a downtown mall, every day during my hour lunch brake I would go out on the mall and share the Gospel. I saw many people come to Christ during this time. I would come back from lunch and get dirty looks from my bosses who had seen me doing this as they were on their way to lunch. I realized my employment was in danger and so prayed and asked the Lord if he wanted me to continue. A dumb question, but out of the weakness of my flesh at the time. The answer He gave me was that using my free time to share Him with men was the most loving thing I could do! Just as in sharing the Salvation Tract our objective is to bring the person to commitment to Jesus as Savior and Lord, so the objective of the Evangelism Tract is to bring the Christian to a commitment of allowing Jesus to use him or her in their free time to bring others to Him. I have found this as effective in getting Christians involved in Evangelism as using a Salvation Tract to bringing people to Christ.

When I do Evangelism during the week, I never assume anyone is a Christian whether they say they attend Church or not, so I always start off with the Salvation tract. When I do, many times Christians tell me they accepted Christ months or years before but that He is no longer Lord of their lives. Often times this is not because they do not want to walk with Jesus, but because of some problem in their lives they were unable to overcome. As a result they became frustrated and under condemnation and eventually gave up trying to live the Christian life and for Jesus. Their problem is that they are trying to live the Christian life in their own strength instead of drawing upon Jesus' strength. They know that Jesus is the answer to their needs but do not know how to apply this truth to their problems. This is what my Forgiveness Tract titled Jesus Is The Answer To Your Needs is all about: first, to bring the Christian back to the place of surrendering his life to Jesus as Savior and Lord and to then show him how to practically draw upon Jesus' strength and power to live the Christian life and apply this to their problems and needs. My book titled How to Share The Forgiveness Tract: JESUS Is The Answer To Your Needs explains how to effectivelyminister the content of this tract with a Christian.

The Community Religious Survey with this Evangelism material was also developed over a period of time through doing door to door Evangelism and college Evangelism. The first four questions are designed to find out the spiritual needs of people and why they may be negative to Christianity. This will help your Church understand what the spiritual needs of your local community are and how you can better serve the needs of your community and congregation spiritually. The rest of the questions are designed to find out what they believe about the Gospel and what is keeping them from receiving Jesus as Savior and Lord. The value of the answer to these questions are that they will tell you how you need to personalize your presentation of the Gospel to them so they will believe and be saved. Believe me, I can tell you from personal experience that it works very well. The Section in my Basic Textbook titled: Testimonies of Evangelism On the Field give eighteen examples of how this survey helped in presenting the Gospel successfully under several different circumstances and arguments against the Gospel. I give their answers to the survey at the beginning of each of the Testimonies where applied and then go on to share how I was able to use this information to successfully lead them to Christ.
