Which Book Is God's

 Qur’an

The Qur’an is God’s Book

Bible

The Bible is God’s ONLY Book

Compare Qur’an to Other Books

Surah 2:23. And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Sura like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (If there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true.

Uniqueness of the Bible

  1. The Bible was written by 40 authors over 1500 years yet has a unity throughout. This is because it was written under the inspiration of God.

  2. It contains 66 books: 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament.

  3. The authors of 55 books are well-identified by history and tradition.

  4. The other 11 books (Judges, Ruth, 1 and 2 Samuel, 1 and 2 Kings, 1 and 2 Chronicles, Esther, Job, and Hebrews) are not definitely known.

  5. Some books (Genesis, Judges, 1 and 2 Kings, 1 and 2 Chronicles) each cover such long periods of history that they probably represent collections of ancient records brought together and edited by some individual, like Moses did with the book of Genesis, near the close of the historical periods described in the books. Psalms and Proverbs also have several authors, not all known.

  6. All of the authors, except Luke, were Jews and wrote in the context of the Jewish religion. Yet the words they wrote have the most universal appeal and interest, to people of all nations, of any words ever written.

  • Two of the writers, David and Solomon, were kings

  • Two were priests: Jeremiah and Ezekiel.

  • Luke was a physician.

  • Two were fishermen: Peter and John.

  • Two were shepherds: Moses and Amos.

  • Paul was a Pharisee and theologian.

  • Daniel was a statesman.

  • Matthew was a tax collector.

  • Joshua was a soldier.

  • Ezra was a scribe.

  • Nehemiah was a cupbearer to King Artaxerxes of Persia.

  1. Some authors were highly educated, but most were of ordinary circumstances of life.

  2. The Bible was written in the framework of history which has proved absolutely accurate in all it affirms.

  3. The Bible contains science that was centuries in advance of its time.

  4. The Bible contains poetry, the greatest ever written, drama, medicine, ethics, practical wisdom, the great plan of salvation and the promise of eternal life.

  5. There are 1,817 individual predictions in the Bible concerning 737 separate subjects found in 8,352 verses. These predictions take up 27% of the 31,124 verses that are in the Bible.

The Qur'an Is God's Book

Surah 2:2. This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah.

Surah 2:3-5 “Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them; and who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter. They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper.”

Surah 2:89. And when there comes to them a Book from Allah, confirming what is with them,- although from of old they had prayed for victory against those without Faith,- when there comes to them that which they (should) have recognised, they refuse to believe in it but the curse of Allah is on those without Faith.

Surah 2:90. Miserable is the price for which they have sold their souls, in that they deny (the revelation) which Allah has sent down, in insolent envy that Allah of His Grace should send it to any of His servants He pleases: Thus have they drawn on themselves Wrath upon Wrath. And humiliating is the punish-ment of those who reject Faith.

The Bible Is God's ONLY Book

Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.

Galatians 1:6-9 “I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you, and want to-pervert the gospel of Christ. But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed.”

God's Word Only Through the Jews

Romans 3:1-2 "Then what advantage has the Jew? Or what is the benefit of circumcision? Great in every respect. First of all, that they were entrusted with the oracles of God."

Yehovah Himself Wrote Portions of it

Exodus 31:18 And when He had finished speaking with him upon Mount Sinai, He gave Moses the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written by the finger of Elohim.

Deuteronomy 9:9-11 “When I went up to the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant which Yehovah had made with you, then I remained on the mountain forty days and nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water. And Yehovah gave me the two tablets of stone written by the finger of Elohim; and on them were all the words which Yehovah had spoken with you at the mountain from the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly. And it came about at the end of forty days and nights that Yehovah gave me the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant.”

Yehovah Inspired the
  Rest Through Men:

2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is given-by-inspiration-of-God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”

2 Peter 1:20-21 “But know this first of all, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one’s-own authority-to-loose to-cause-to-come-into-existence, for no prophecy was-ever brought-forth by the will of man, but being-brought-forth by the Holy Spirit, men of God spoke.”

Boundaries of the Bible

Isaiah 8:19-20 “And when they say to you, ‘Consult the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter,’ should not a people consult their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living? To the Torah and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because they have no dawn.”

Romans 3:1-2 “Then what advantage has the Jew? Or what is the benefit of circumcision? Great in every respect. First of all, that they were entrusted with the oracles of God.”

Matthew 11:13 “For all the prophets and the Law prophesied until John.” (Luke 16:16)

Luke 24:44 “Now He said to them, “These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”

Ephesians 2:19-20 “So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built upon the foundation of the apostles [New Testament] and prophets [Old Testament], Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone.”

Power of the Bible

Isaiah 55:10-11 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth, and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so shall My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”

Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is spiritually-alive and energetically-effective and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the conscious-reasonings and intentions of the heart.

1 Peter 1:23 “For you-have-been-born-again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and abiding word of God.”

2 Peter 1:2-4 “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus-our-Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, in order that by them you might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.”

Romans 15:4 “For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.”

Romans 10:17 “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.”

John 17:17 “Sanctify them in the truth, Your word is truth.”

Proof:

John 2:22 “When therefore He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus had spoken.

Find Fault Qur'an - Go to Hell

Surah 2:175. They are the ones who buy Error in place of Guidance and Torment in place of Forgiveness. Ah! what boldness (They show) for the Fire!

Surah 2:176. (Their doom is) because Allah sent down the Book in truth but those who seek causes of dispute in the Book are in a schism Far (from the purpose).

Salvation Is the Free Gift of God

Romans 3:24-25 "Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith." (Romans 3:24-25)

Galatians 2:16 "Nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified." (Galatians 2:16)

Romans 3:28 "For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law." (Romans 3:28)

Romans 5:1 "Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:1)

When did God Ratify the Qur’an?

Surah 2:27. Those who break Allah.s Covenant after it is ratified, and who sunder what Allah Has ordered to be joined, and do mischief on earth: These cause loss (only) to themselves.

Surah 2:101. And when there came to them an apostle from Allah, confirming what was with them, a party of the people of the Book threw away the Book of Allah behind their backs, as if (it had been something) they did not know!

What Signs?

Surah 2:99. We have sent down to thee Manifest Signs (ayat); and none reject them but those who are perverse.

In the year 610 while in a cave on Mt. Hirah, which is now called Mount Jabal Nur, Muhammad claimed that the angel Gabriel appeared to him and commanded him to recite. From that point on, for 23 years up until his death in 632 Muhammad continued to receive revelations. In these encounters sometimes Muhammad would see the angel, other times he would only hear him, and at others he only heard the sound of a bell through which the words of the angel came. Muhammad could not read or write, so his companions wrote down what he said. They were copied on papyrus, flat stones, palm leaves, shoulder blades, ribs of animals, pieaces of leather and wooden boards. Mohammad’s followers memorized the sayings also and passed them on. The work of the Qur’an is about the size of the New Testament of the Bible.

after Muhammad died in 632, Abu-Bakr, Muhammad's father in law became the religious leader of the Muslims and an effort was made to collect the fragments of the revelations of Muhammad into one place. However, it wasn't until the fourth leader of Islam, Caliph Uthman, that the Qur'an was assembled, approved, and spread throughout the Muslim world.

Ratification of the Bible

John 2:22 “When therefore He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus had spoken.

Acts 2:21-24 "‘And it shall be, that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.' Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus-the-Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know—This Man, delivered up by the determined-fixed counsel and foreknowledge of God, you nailed-to-a-cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death. And God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power."

Hebrews 2:4 "God also bearing witness with them, both by signs and wonders and by various-works-of-power and through the distribution of the Holy-Spirit according to His own will."

Follow Qur'an Above All Other Books
