HUSBANDS
Men are superior to women in Islam
Surah 2:228 "And
women shall have rights similar to the rights against them, according to
what is equitable; but men have a degree (superiority) over them"
Women have half the rights of men
In court witness Surah 2:282
In inheritance Surah 4: 11
A wife is a possession.
Surah 3:14
"Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things
they covet: women and sons, heaped-up hoards of gold and silver;
horses..."
-Islam teaches that women are
unclean.
Surah 4:43
"If a Muslim man touches' a woman (even his wife) before praying, he
is considered unclean for prayer."
Women are to veil themselves when
they are outside their homes
Surah 24:31
"And say to the believing women...that they
should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty"
Mohammed taught that women are
lacking in mind and religion
Al
Bukhary vol. 2:541 "have not seen anyone more deficient in
intelligence and religion than women"
He taught that women are a bad
omen.
Al Bukhary vol. 7:30
"Bad omen is in the women, the house and the horse"
He taught that women are harmful
to men
Al Bukhary vol. 7:33
"After me I have not left any affliction
more harmful to men than women"
MARRIAGE
A man can have up to four wives at
one time.
Surah 4:3
"Marry women of your choice, two, or three, or four"
DIVORCE
The man can divorce the
same woman twice, but the woman has no such right.
Surah 2:229
"divorce is permissible twice"
-The husband simply
pronounces three times "I divorce you!" Once she has been divorced,
he cannot remarry her until she has married someone else and been divorced
by him.
Surah
2:230 "So if a husband divorces his wife he cannot after that,
remarry her until after she has married another husband, and he has
divorced her"
-A husband is permitted to beat
his wife and obstain from sexual relations with her
Surah
4:34 "As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and
ill-conduct, admonish them, refuse to share their beds, beat them..."
SEX LIFE
-The wife is only a sex object of
her husband's to be ploughed like a field as he wills
Surah 2:223 "your
wives are as a tilth (a field to be ploughed) unto you, so approach your
tilth, when or how ye will"
CHILDREN
Children must be
raised in the Islam religions. If the woman is divorced, the husband
has sole right over the children and you may not ever see your children
again.
Surah 3:19
"The religion before God is Islam"
Surah 4: 144
"O ye who believe; take not for friends
(protectors) unbelievers rather than believers"
YOUR FUTURE
If you are not a
Muslim and your husband dies, you are not able to receive Your husbands
inheritance. If you are Mulsim and your husband dies without
children, you get 1/4 the inheritance of her husband. If you have
children you get 1/8 of Your husbands inheritance. The children get
the rest. Males get twice as much as female children.
Surah
1:12 "In what ye leave, their (wives) share is a fourth if you
leave no children; but if you leave a child, they (wives) get an eighth;
after payment of legacies and debts. "

CREATION OF WOMAN
Genesis 1:26-27 "And
Elohim said ‘Let-us-make man in our-image, according-to-our-likeness, and
to-rule over-the fish of-the sea and over-the flying-creatures in-the
heavens and over-the beast and over all the earth and over every
moving-thing that moves upon the earth. And Elohim created man in
His-image, in-the image of Elohim He-created him; male and female
He-created them.’"
Genesis 2:21-23 “And Yehovah-Elohim
caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept. And He took one of
his-ribs and closed up the flesh underneath. And Yehovah-Elohim
constructed the rib which He had taken from Adam into a woman, and brought
her in to Adam. And Adam said, ‘This now at last is bone from my-bones,
and flesh from my flesh! For this shall be called woman,’ because this has
been taken out of man.”
Genesis 5:2 "He
created them male and female, and He blessed them and named them
Man In-the-day when they were created."
While a
man's
and a woman's role in marriage
differ according to the Bible, yet these passages in Genesis make it clear
that women are not inferior to men, but they are equal as human beings and
as created in God's image. Thus Peter instructed Husbands:
1 Peter 3:7 You
"husbands likewise, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with
a weaker vessel, since she is a woman; and grant her honor as a fellow
heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered."
THE WOMAN'S
ROLE IN MARRIAGE
Genesis 3:16
“Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”
Ephesians 5:22-24 “Wives, be
subject to your own husbands, as in the Lord. For the husband is the head
of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being
the Savior of the body. But as the church is subject to Christ, so also
the wives are to be to their husbands in everything.”
Ephesians
5:33 “Let the wife see to it that she respect her husband.”
Colossians
3:18 “Wives, be
subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
1 Peter 2:21-23 “For you have been
called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you
an example for you to follow in His steps, who committed no sin, nor was
any deceit found in His mouth; and while being reviled, He did not revile
in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting
Himself to Him who judges righteously.”
1 Peter 3:1-3 “In the same way, you
wives, be submissive to your own husbands so that even if any of them are
disobedient to the word, they may be won without a word by the behavior of
their wives, as they observe your chaste and respectful behavior. And let
not your adornment be merely external—braiding the hair, and wearing gold
jewelry, or putting on dresses; but let it be the hidden person of the
heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which
is precious in the sight of God.”
THE HUSBAND'S
ROLE IN MARRIAGE
Ephesians 5:25-31 “Husbands, love
your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for
her; that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of
water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all
her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she
should be holy and blameless. So husbands ought also to love their own
wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself; for no
one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as
Christ also does the church, because we are members of His flesh. For this
cause a man shall leave His father and mother, and shall cleave to his
wife; and the two shall become one flesh.”
Ephesians
5:33 “Nevertheless let each individual among you also love his own
wife even as himself; and let the wife see to it that she respect her
husband.”
Colossians 3:19 Husbands, love your
wives, and do not be embittered against them.
1 Peter 3:7 “You husbands likewise,
live with your wives in an understanding way, as with a weaker vessel,
since she is a woman; and grant her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of
life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.”
Jesus loved the Church by
giving His life for the Church. Also Jesus said in Matthew 20:27-28,
“And whoever wishes to be
first among you shall be your slave; just as the Son-of-Man did not come
to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
Therefore the Husband is called to serve his
family, not make his family members his personal property to serve him.
Jesus loved us by giving His life for us and today He serves us by helping
us to reach our full potential in Him, His will and plan for our lives. In
the same way the husband is to provide for His family and and serve them
by helping them to fulfill Jesus’ will in their lives individually. Being
the head of the home means to manage the home and lead it spiritually.
Leading the home spiritually means to encourage each member to seek Jesus’
will for them individually and then do what he can to help them fulfill
Jesus’ will for them.
WE ARE TO SUBMIT
TO ONE ANOTHER
Ephesians
5:21 “And be subject to one another in the fear of Christ.”
SEX LIFE
1 Corinthians 7:2-5 “But because of
fornications, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her
own husband. Let the husband fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise
also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her
own body, but the husband does; and likewise also the husband does not
have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Stop depriving one
another, except by agreement for a time that you may devote yourselves to
prayer, and come together again lest Satan tempt you because of your lack
of self-control.”
DIVORCE
Matthew 19:9 "Whoever divorces his
wife, except for fornication, and marries another woman commits adultery.”
AN EXCELLENT WIFE

Husband & Wife After Death
Matthew 22:23-32 "On
that day some Sadducees (who say there is no resurrection) came to Him and
questioned Him, saying, ‘Teacher, Moses said, "If a man dies, having no
children, his brother as next of kin shall Marry his wife, and raise up an
offspring to his brother." Now there were seven brothers with us; and the
first married and died, and having no offspring left his wife to his
brother; so also the second, and the third, down to the seventh. And last
of all, the woman died. In the resurrection therefore whose wife of the
seven shall she be? For they all had her.’ But Jesus answered and said to
them, ‘You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures, or the power of
God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in
marriage, but are like angels in Heaven. But regarding the resurrection of
the dead, have you not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,
"I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob"? He
is not the God of the dead but of the living.’"
