Where Muhammad Was
Prophesied About
in the Bible
By Dale P. Kruse
|
Was Mohammad the Prophet Moses prophesied about that would be
raised up and be like him? The Bible prophecy Muslim Clerics claim is talking
about Mohammad is
Deuteronomy 18:15-18
"Yehovah your Elohim will raise up for you a prophet like me
from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him. This is according
to all that you asked of Yehovah your Elohim in Horeb on the day of the
assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of Yehovah my Elohim, let me
not see this great fire anymore, lest I die.’ And Yehovah said to me, ‘They have
spoken well. I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and
I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command
him.'"
Now lets analyze this prophecy. First Moses states that God
will raise up a prophet like himself from among the Jews, from among his
brethren, thus this prophet will be a Jew. What do we know about Moses? He was
born of two Jewish slaves, thus he was a Jew, an Israelite. We know that when an
infant his life was threatened by Pharaoh. Rescued by Pharaoh’s daughter, we
know that Moses was raised and educated in the best schools of Egypt and
prepared to be a Prince, he was an educated man. Moses lived a pure life. When
God called Moses to deliver His people the Jews from slavery in Egypt, we know
that God did this by performing miracles through Moses’ hands. When Moses died,
God and the angel Michael attended His funeral. Centuries later Moses appeared
with Jesus Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration.
What do we know about Mohammad? Mohammad was not a Jew, he
was born an Arab, he was not Moses brother, thus he was a foreigner. God was
very specific in his commands to the Jews, that they were to raise up leaders,
kings only from among their people the Jews, specifically from the tribe of
Judah. Mohammad was an Arab, not a Jew. Mohammad’s life as an infant was never
threatened like Moses’. Mohammad was not educated like Moses, he could not read.
Mohammad did not live a pure life like Moses. Mohammad performed no miracles
like Moses did. God and the angel Michael did not attend Mohammad’s funeral. He
died in the lap of His wife Aysha, and thus his life ended. Mohammad did not
appear with Jesus Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration like Moses did.
Who fits the description of a prophet like Moses? Jesus
Christ did. The Apostle Philip said about Jesus Christ recorded by the
Apostle John in the Gospel of
John 1:45
"We have found Him of whom Moses in the Law and also the Prophets wrote,
Jesus-of-Nazareth-the-Son-of-Joseph." Jesus was born of the tribe of Judah
through Mary; thus He was a Jew, an Israelite like Moses. Like Moses He was also
a prince among His people, because kings could only come from the tribe of
Judah. Even more so than Moses, Jesus lived a pure and sinless life. Like Moses,
Jesus' life as an infant was threatened by death by king Herod. His parents
during this time fled to Egypt to save him. The Bible tells us in
Colossians 2:3
that in Jesus "are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Like Moses
Jesus performed many astounding miracles. When Jesus died on the cross, To show
that Jesus was His servant, spokesman and that He did die for our sins, God
raised Him from the dead on the third day. Jesus is alive today. When Jesus
talked to the Israelites, He said in
John 5:46-47
"Moses wrote about me". He never said "Moses wrote about
Mohammad. Stephen made very plain that Moses was talking about Jesus Christ in
Acts Chapter 7 of the New Testament. The Apostle Peter made plain that the
prophet Moses prophesied about was Jesus Christ of Nazareth in
Acts 3:19-23.
He said,
"Repent therefore and return, that your sins may be wiped
away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;
and that He may send Jesus, the Messiah appointed for you, whom heaven must
receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by
the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time. Moses said, ‘The Lord God
shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren; to Him you shall
give heed in everything He says to you. And it shall be that every soul that
does not heed that prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people."
The New Testament as a whole makes plain
that Moses prophecy in
Deuteronomy Chapter 18
was fulfilled in Jesus Christ of
Nazareth, not Mohammad. The Bible also makes plain that Jesus is God's
final revelation of Himself and Creation to man:
Mark 12:6
"He had one more to send, a beloved son;
he sent him last of all to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’"
John 14:6
"Jesus said to him, "I-AM the way, and the
truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me."
1 Timothy 2:5
"For there is one God, and one mediator
also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."
Hebrews 1:1-2
"God, after He spoke long ago to the
fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days
has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through
whom also He made the ages.
There is no other way to God and salvation except through
Jesus. The Bible teaches us:
John 10:1, 9
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who
does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some
other way, he is a thief and a robber.... Truly, truly, I say to you, I
am the door of the sheep.... If anyone enters through Me, he shall be
saved and shall go in and out, and find pasture."
John 17:3
"And this is eternal life, that they may know
You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent."
Acts 4:12
"And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under
heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved."
1 Timothy 2:5
"For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man
Christ Jesus."
1 John 5:11-12
"And the witness is this, that God has
given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the
life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life."
Colossians 1:27
"to whom God willed to make known what
is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ
in you, the hope of glory."
2 Corinthians 13:5
"Test yourselves to see if you are
in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about
yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail
the test?"
If you want to have eternal life and go to Heaven, The only
way you can get there is through Jesus Christ. This is the significance of
Jesus' physical resurrection, it proves to us Jesus' claims about Himself are
absolutely true. Mohammad died, was buried and is dust. He proved
nothing. Note what the writers of the New testament say about the
significance and meaning of Jesus' physical resurrection:
First, it proves that Jesus is God's only Son, meaning of the
essence of God, God Himself in the flesh. Paul wrote in,
Romans 1:3-4
"Concerning His Son, who was born of the seed of David
according to the flesh, who was declared the Son of God with power by the
resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ
our Lord."
Second, it proves the Bible is God's only true book.
Jesus always and only quoted from the Bible to back up anything He said.
After He rose physically from the dead the Apostle John recorded in
John 2:22
"When therefore He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He
said this; and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus had
spoken."
Third, it proves Jesus is the only way to God and salvation
from our sins. Paul wrote:
1 Corinthians 15:3-8
"For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also
received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He
was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to
more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but
some have fallen asleep; then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles;
and last of all, as it were to one untimely born, He appeared to me also."
Acts 1:3
"To these He also presented Himself alive, after His suffering, by many
convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days, and speaking
of the things concerning the kingdom of God."
One cannot be saved if one does not believe in God's witness
of who Jesus Christ is and His salvation for Our sins through His death on the
cross through His raising Jesus from the dead:
Romans 10:9-10
"That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and
believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved;
for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth
he confesses, resulting in salvation."
Jesus made plain His resurrection from the dead would be
God's only witness to man of what He taught and claimed about Himself. Jesus said,
Matthew 12:39-40
"An evil and adulterous generation craves for a sign; and yet no sign shall be
given to it but the sign of Jonah the prophet; for just as Jonah was three days
and three nights in the belly of the large-fish, so shall the Son of Man be
three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."
That Jesus' resurrection was a physical resurrection Jesus
testified too after His resurrection. He said in
Luke 24:39
"See My
hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch me and see, for a spirit does not
have flesh and bones as you see that I have."
Jesus' physical resurrection proves He is God Almighty our
Creator in the flesh:
John 20:26-29
"And after eight days again His
disciples were inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors having been
shut, and stood in their midst, and said, ‘Peace be with you.’ Then He said to
Thomas, ‘Reach here Your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand, and
put it into My side; and be not unbelieving, but believing.’ Thomas answered and
said to Him, ‘My Lord and my God!’ Jesus said to him, ‘Because you have seen Me,
have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and believed.’"
Jesus said about Himself in
John 11:25-26
"I am the
Resurrection and the Life; he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies, and
everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die." Note that He said
He, not God, is the resurrection and the life, thus declaring Himself God.
The angel told Joseph to name the baby Jesus because He, Jesus, would save His
people from their sins. The name "Jesus" means "Yehovah is Savior."
Yehovah is the name of God given in the Old Testament. The Angel tells
Joseph to name the baby Jesus, because He Jesus, He Yehovah in the flesh, will
save His people from their sins. Matthew then explains that this is a
fulfillment of
Isaiah 7:14
and says Jesus will be called Immanuel.
Immanuel means "God with us." Jesus was never called Immanuel because
Immanuel is not a title, but a predicate adjective describing who Jesus is:
Our God and Creator in the flesh.
Jesus states in
Revelation 3:20
"Behold, I stand at the door
and knock; if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him,
and will dine with him, and he with Me." The door refers to our heart.
Jesus says if you open the door of Your heart and invite Him in that He will
come in. God the Father than testifies in
1 John 5:11-12,
"And the witness is this, that God has given us eternal life,
and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not
have the Son of God does not have the life."
The Apostle Paul testifies in
Colossians 1:27
"To whom God
willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the
Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." And Paul again
testifies in
2 Corinthians 13:5, "Test yourselves to see if you are in the
faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that
Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?"
If you would like to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord, then
pray the following prayer:
Jesus, I confess to You that I am a sinner and repent of
my known sins. I ask You now to come into my heart as Savior from my sins and as
Lord of my life. Heavenly Father, thank You for forgiving my sins through Your
Son’s death and shed blood on the cross and that I now have eternal life. Now
take control of my life, and through Your Holy Spirit lead me into your will and
plan for my life; in Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth’s name, amen.
If you just prayed this prayer then know that Jesus is in
Your heart and that You do have eternal life and that You will go to heaven.
Jesus' physical resurrection from the dead is God's proof to you this is
absolutely true. If You did, I encourage you to go to
this link and to read
the list of articles written there. These articles will give you assurance
of salvation, explain to you how to relate to Jesus in prayer for the answer to
Your needs, how to know what is truly Jesus' voice, how to know His will and
plan for Your life and how to succeed in that plan.
Mohammad died, was buried and is dust. God gave no
testimony that He sent him or that he was His messenger or that putting your
trust in him will save you and give you eternal life. God did however
testify that Jesus was from Him and that Jesus' words are His words to man when
He raised Jesus' physical body from the dead. In fact Paul said that those who reject Jesus as Savior and Lord
will not only not be saved but will instead in the day of God's judgment of man be judged by Jesus
Christ Himself and that His physical resurrection from the dead is God's proof to us concerning this
absolute truth. Paul said in
Acts 17:30-31,
"Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is
now declaring to men that all everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a
day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has
appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead."
Not only that, but God the Father makes plain that in light
of the suffering and price Jesus paid for our sins on the cross, if we reject
this salvation of God for us that,
Hebrews 10:26-27
"For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth,
there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain terrifying
expectation of judgment, and the fury of a fire which will consume the
adversaries."
Jesus said in
John 3:18
"He who believes in Him is not
judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not
believed in the name of the only begotten Son-of-God."
Our proof again is the physical resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Where Muhammad Is Prophesied in the
Bible
Where then is Muhammad prophesied in the Bible?
Muhammad is prophesied about in these passages:
John 8:44,
John 16:2,
2
Corinthians 11:3-4,
2 Corinthians 11:13-15,
2 John 7.
Jesus' prophesies about Muhammad:
John 8:44
"You are of your father the devil, and you want to
do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does
not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a
lie, he speaks from his own nature; for he is a liar, and the father of it."
John 16:2-3
"But an hour is coming for everyone who kills you
to think that he is offering service to God. And these things they will do,
because they have not known the Father, or Me."
Paul the Apostle prophesied of Muhammad in
2 Corinthians
11:4, & 13-15
"For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not
preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a
different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully. . . .
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves as
apostles of Christ. And no wonder for Satan transforms himself into an angel of
light. It is not a great thing then if his ministers transform themselves as
ministers of righteousness; whose end will be according to their works."
The Apostle John prophesied about Muhammad in
2 John 7
"For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge
Jesus-Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist."
Jesus said in
Luke 24:44
"These are My words which I spoke to
you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in
the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled." What was
written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms? Well we already
covered what Moses wrote about Jesus in the beginning of this article. What else
is written about Jesus in the Prophets and the Psalms? In the Prophets it is
written about Jesus that he is the only true God from eternity past who in time
took on a full human nature as well, that Jesus is this only true God in the
flesh. The prophets Isaiah and Micah record:
Isaiah 7:14
"Therefore Yehovah Himself will give you a sign:
Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name
Immanuel."
Isaiah 9:6
"For a child will be born to us, a son will be
given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be
called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty-El, Father-of-Eternity, Prince-of-Peace."
Micah 5:2
"But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, too little to
be among the clans of Judah, from you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in
Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity."
"Immanuel" is a compound Hebrew word meaning "El with us."
"El" is the Hebrew word for "God". God through Isaiah tells us that in time He
is going to take on a full human nature as well. Luke in
Luke 1:26-35
tells us
that Jesus would be conceived of by the Holy Spirit and that for that reason
Jesus in His humanity would be called the Son of God. When Joseph, Mary’s
fiancé, discovers Mary is pregnant not by him, he makes plans to put her away
secretly. As he does an angel appears to him in a dream and tells him not to be
afraid to take Mary as his wife because her pregnancy is not by man but by the
Holy Spirit. Then in,
Matthew 1:21-23
"‘And she will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus,
for it is He who will save His people from their sins.’ Now all
this took place that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet might be
fulfilled, saying, "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bear a
son, and they shall call his name Immanuel," which translated means, "God
with us."’"
Hebrews 1:8
"But of the Son He says, ‘Your throne, O
God, is forever
and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of Your kingdom.’" This is a
direct quote from
Psalm 45:6. The word for "God" used here is "Elohim" which is
the same Hebrew noun for God used by Moses in
Genesis 1:1
when he states
"In-the-beginning Elohim created the heavens and the-earth."
The Prophet Isaiah, the Psalmist and the Angel who visited
Joseph and the Angel Gabriel who visited Mary all tell them that Jesus will be
the only true God in the flesh. Paul wrote about Jesus in
Colossians 2:9
"For in
Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form." Note: not in a body, but in
bodily form. Jesus, therefore, is the only true God from eternity past who in
time came in the flesh: took on a full human nature as well so that Jesus is
now, and will remain so forever, fully God and fully Man but one person.
This is the meaning of John’s statement about who the
anti-Christ will be in,
1 John 4:1-3
"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits
to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into
the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that
Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not
confess Jesus is not from God; and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of
which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world."
He states it again in
2 John 7
"For many deceivers
have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus-Christ as
coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist." The Apostle John
states clearly that whoever denies that Jesus is the only true God who has come
in the flesh is not from God. This is in fact exactly what Muhammad taught about
Jesus, that he was not God in the flesh, but just a man who was only a prophet
of God. The Prophets, the writers of the Psalms, the angel in
Matthew Chapter 1,
the angel Gabriel and finally the Apostle John states that that makes Muhammad
an antichrist, not a messenger of God.
When one reads the Qur’an, one sees a spirit of hate and
murder who demands the impossible of its follows and if one does not comply
condemnation and death. When one reads the New Testament one reads about a God
of love who took on a human nature in the person of Jesus Christ who did not
require a sacrifice from us, but who sacrificed Himself on the cross for our sins to
save us and give us eternal life. Jesus said in
John 3:17
"For God did not send
the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved
through Him," and in
Luke 9:56
"For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s
lives, but to save them." Muhammad taught in the Qur’an that if one does not
confess Allah as God and Muhammad as His prophet and the Qur'an as God's book that they are infidels and to
be killed or made slaves. The Qur’an teaches:
Surah 2:191. "And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn
them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are
worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they
(first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of
those who suppress faith."
Jesus taught:
Matthew 5:43-48
"You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall
love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies,
and pray for those who persecute you in order that you may be sons of your
Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good,
and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who
love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax-gatherers do the same? And
if you greet your brothers only, what do you do more than others? Do not even
the Gentiles do the same? Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly
Father is perfect."
Luke 6:27-31
"But I say to You who hear, love your enemies,
do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who
mistreat you. Whoever hits you on the cheek, offer him the other also; and
whoever takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic from him either. Give
to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand
it back. And just as you want people to treat you, treat them in the same way."
The Apostles of Jesus taught:
Romans 12:14
"Bless those who persecute you; bless and curse
not."
Romans 12:17-21
"Never pay back evil for evil to anyone.
Respect what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, so far as it depends
on you, be at peace with all men. Never take your own revenge, beloved, but
leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will
repay,’ says the Lord. But if your enemy is hungry, feed Him, and if He is
thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals upon His
head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with Good."
Jesus did not just teach this in words only, but in example
also. The Apostle Peter wrote about Jesus:
1 Peter 2:21-23
"For you have been called for this purpose,
since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in
His steps, who committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth; and
while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no
threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously."
God became a man in the person of Jesus Christ. He loved us,
fed us and healed us. Man in response arrested Him, beat Him, the Bible tells
us, until you would not recognize Him if you saw Him on the street. Finally, man hung Jesus on
a cross to die. Jesus while hanging on the cross said in
Luke 23:34
"Father, forgive them;
for they do not know what they are doing." Jesus prophesied to His followers and enemies
that He would die on the cross at man’s hands. What was His response to this
prophecy? Jesus said in
John 3:14-15
"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the
wilderness, even so must the Son-of-Man be lifted up; that whoever believes in
Him may have eternal-life." Jesus said in response that if you would just believe
that that is Him dying on the cross for your sins that He will forgive you and
give you eternal life. That is the God of the Bible, a God of love who does not
seek to destroy men’s lives but to save them, who says vengeance is His, not
man’s. Once when Jesus entered a town that did not receive Him but asked him to
leave, Jesus' disciples said to Him "Lord, do You want us to command fire to
come down from heaven and consume them?" What did Jesus say in response?
It says in
Luke 9:55-56
"But He turned and rebuked them, and said, ‘You do not
know what kind of spirit you are of; for the Son of Man did not come to destroy
men’s lives, but to save them.’"
True faith does not come at the hand of the sword, as the
Qur'an teaches, but rather at
surrendering ourselves to God and suffering quietly at the hands of evil men
trusting God for our deliverance, not by the way of violence, but through the
power of the Holy Spirit. God said in
Zechariah 3:6
"‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My-Spirit,’ declares Yehovah-of-hosts."
And was not this Jesus’ example to us? Peter tells us
1 Peter 2:23
"While being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered
no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously." What happened in the end? God the Father on the
third day raised Jesus physically alive from the grave. He did not leave Him in
death to prove to us that He truly was His Son and Savior of our sins.
God gave no such witness of Muhammad who was an adulterer and
a murderer. Jesus said to His enemies who killed the prophets in,
John 8:44
"You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the
desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand
in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he
speaks from his own nature; for he is a liar, and the father of it."
God the Father did not show that Muhammad was of Him by
raising him physically from the grave, but showed instead that he a liar and
murderer. Muhammad died, was buried and is dust. His book and teachings in the
Qur’an can save no one. If you put your trust in the Qur’an and Muhammad you
will end up like him: dead, buried and dust. Jesus is alive!!! Jesus said in
John 11:25-26
"I am the Resurrection and the Life; he who believes in Me shall
live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never
die." He then proved it by raising His own dead body from the grave healthy and
alive on the third day. Jesus said about His teachings recorded in the New
Testament in
Matthew 24:35
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words shall
not pass away." Muhammad is a dead Savior, Jesus is a living Savior. Only Jesus
can save you. Muhammad can save no one. If you put your trust in Muhammad, when
you die you will be judged and thrown into the eternal lake of fire forever.
God’s Word testifies in,
Hebrews 10:26-27
"For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the
knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a
certain terrifying expectation of judgment, and the fury of a fire which will
consume the adversaries."
Also in
Revelation 21:8
"But for the cowardly and unbelieving
and abominable and murderers and fornicating persons and sorcerers and idolaters
and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and
brimstone, which is the second death."
If in the light of what God suffered for our sins on the
cross in the person of Jesus Christ, we reject His testimony through His raising
Jesus physically alive from the dead, God says in His Word that we will have His
wrath upon our heads all the more.
John 3:36
"He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but
he who does-not-obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on
him."
However, if you confess Jesus as Savior and Lord and receive
Him into your heart as Savior and Lord, God will wash all Your sins away past,
present and future and save you and give you eternal life. Paul testified in
Romans 5:8-9
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were
yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been
justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through
Him."
God testified through the Apostle John in
1 John 5:11-12
"And
the witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His
Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does
not have the life."
If you want assurance of salvation and to have eternal life
and go to heaven, there is only one way you can get this: first, by abandoning
any righteousness of your own for salvation and coming naked at the foot of the
cross and putting your trust only in the death and shed blood of Jesus Christ
for your sins and then receiving Him into your heart as Savior and Lord. The
apostle Paul wrote in the Bible in
Romans 3:28
"For we maintain that a man is
justified by faith apart from works of the Law;" and in
Galatians 2:16
"Nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but
through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we
may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the Law; since by
the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified."
If you want to receive Jesus as Your Savior and Lord then
pray like this:
Jesus, I confess to You that I am a sinner and repent of my
known sins.
If you just prayed this prayer and meant it, then know that
Jesus is in Your heart and that you have eternal life and that you will go to
heaven. How do I know this is true? Because Jesus rose from the dead physically
alive to prove to us it is true. Paul wrote in
Romans 4:25
"He who was delivered
up because of our transgressions, and raised because of our justification."
Again in Colossians 1:27 "To whom God willed to make known what is the riches of
the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope
of glory." Christ in you is your hope of glory. Jesus said in,
John10:1, & 9
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the
door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and
a robber.... Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
If anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved and shall go in and out, and find
pasture."
Jesus said if you try to go to God through any other way
except through Him, you will be declared a thief and a robber. Why? Because
trying to go to God through any other means but Jesus will not save your soul
and your example will encourage others to do the same. Thus, not only do you rob
your own soul of salvation but you will rob those you influence also of their
salvation through Jesus Christ. Jesus proved His claims true by coming back from
the dead. Muhammad proved nothing. He died, was buried and is dust. I encourage
you today to turn away from the false Prophet Muhammad and receive Jesus as
Savior from your sins and as Lord of Your life. When you do, God will save you
and give you eternal life. God testifies in His word in,
1 John 5:11-12
"And the witness is this, that God has given us eternal life,
and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not
have the Son of God does not have the life."
