Breaking Satan's Curses

Dear Susan:

I am sorry to hear about the afflictions you are experiencing. Remember: There is a root cause to every demonic problem. 1) First, Ask Yourself: when did this affliction first began? What was the place and context? Find the root Cause.

Unclean associations with people in the occult (2 Cor 6:14-18)
Dabbling in and Handling articles of witchcraft ((Deut 18:10-13))
Associating with the world (bars, night clubs) (1 Jn 2:15-17, James 4:4)
Attending a séance (Deut 18:10-13)
Having Your fortune told (Deut 18:10-13)
Reading Pornography and visiting it on the internet (1 Cor 6:9-10)
Living with unbelievers (2 Cor 6:14)
Etcetera, Read Deuteronomy 18:10-13, 2 Cor 6:14-18, Eph 5:1-17

Deuteronomy 18:10-13 "There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yehovah; and because of these abominations Yehovah your-Elohim will drive them out before you. You shall be blameless before Yehovah your-Elohim."
2 Corinthians 6:14 "Do not be bound together with unbelievers, for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?"

1 John 2:15-17 "Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. And the world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God abides forever."

James 4:4 "You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God."

When did it begin, what was the context, what was the violation of God's word. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you, to show you what started it or what in His Word you have violated. Unclean associations, whether aware of it or not, is a violation of God's word and gives Satan legal ground to attack you.

The Solution: once the root cause it found 2) Confess the unclean association or sin to God and denounce it in Jesus' name. 3) Next, Thank Jesus for His forgiveness through His death and shed blood on the cross and according to His promise in 1 John 1:9 which states "If we confess our sins, He God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God's forgiveness is an automatic fact the moment we confess and repent of our sins. We show faith in the promise of God's word by thanking Him for His forgiveness regardless of how we feel. We walk by faith meaning by trusting in the promises of God's Word, not on how we feel. 4) Next, ask Jesus to refill you with His Holy Spirit according to His command in Ephesians 5:18 and His promise in 1 John 5:14-15 that He will answer any prayer that is according to His will.

Ephesians 5:18 "And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit."

1 John 5:14-15 "And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him."

Again you accept you are refilled with the Holy Spirit by faith, not feelings, according to the promise of God's Word. Then ask Him to retake control of Your life and continue to lead you according to His Word and will and plan for your life. Pray like this:

Jesus, I confess to you my sin(s) of __________. Thank You for forgiving me according to Your Promise in 1 John 1:9. I now ask You to refill me with Your Holy Spirit, to retake control of my life and to continue to lead me into your will and plan for my life. By faith thank You that it is done according to Your promise to answer any prayer that is according to Your will, in Your name, Jesus, amen.

5) Next, Break the curses of Satan upon you by praying like this:

In the name and the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Satan! I bind you and your power and break these curses. I bind you and all unclean spirits related and command you to be gone forever!

If a person or people are involved you need to sever yourself from those people spiritually. Pray like this:

Heavenly Father, in the name and the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I will to be severed from this person and his associates spiritually. I ask You to sever me from this person, and all other persons associated with him, spiritually and to place a wall of the protection of Your blood between my human spirit and their human spirit so that they no longer have any further access to me or my human spirit in Jesus' name.

This explains why we come under attack demonically when nothing is wrong in our lives because the spirits they are entertaining are afflicting us. When someone you are associated with spiritually does not repent of their sin you then need to ask the Lord to sever you from that person spiritually and to place a wall of the protection of His blood. It helps to have others praying with you in this way, all agreeing together for the severing of this spiritual connection. This does not mean you should not keep praying for that person, but then at least you will be protected from them spiritually and from the unclean spirits they are entertaining.

When the Lord assigns people to me to Pastor I automatically have a spiritual connection to that person. This is how the Lord lets me know when they are in trouble and going astray, falling temptation to sin. This is because when they start sinning in an area or are yielding to unclean spirits I automatically come under attack of the unclean spirits they are entertaining because of our spiritual connection. When certain people in my charge have refused to repent of their ways i have had to pray like above in order to get relief. I Continue to pray for them but I ask the Lord to sever me and my congregation from them spiritually for my and their protection and to place a wall of the protection of His blood between us and them. Some times I may have to repeat this prayer two or three times before I get the relief I need. If needed get others to agree with you in prayer to sever any and all spiritual connections to those Satanic people. This would make sense and explain why you are coming under attack when getting ready to go to church. They are doing something, sending unclean spirits to afflict you. Praying the way above will completely sever you from them spiritually and stop these attacks. They will no longer be able to reach you spiritually.

As long as You have no unconfessed sin in your life and are walking in obedience to God, you will have complete authority over Satan and unclean spirits.

Proverbs 28:13 "He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will find compassion,"
Proverbs 22:8 "He who sows iniquity will reap vanity, and the rod of his fury will perish.";

Isaiah 59:1-2 "Behold, Yehovah’s hand is not so short that it cannot save; neither is His-ear so dull that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear."

1 Timothy 1:5 But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.

1 Timothy 1:18-19 "Fight the good fight, keeping faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck in regard to their faith.

James 4:7 "Submit therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

Luke 10:19 "Behold, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy and to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and nothing shall injure you."

Revelation 12:11 "And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their soul even to death."

Our faith and authority in Jesus is based on His eternal Word the Bible, not on how we feel. Exercising your authority over Satan and unclean spirits in Jesus' name is based on the promises of God's word, not on how you feel or how emotionally you state these commands to Satan. Emotions have nothing to do with it, only the promises of God's Word do:

Romans 15:4 "For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope."

Deuteronomy 29:29 "The secret things belong to Yehovah-our-Elohim, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of this law." (Deut 29:29)

Psalm 119:89 "Forever, Yehovah, Your word is settled in Heaven."

Matthew 24:35 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words shall not pass away."

1 Peter 1:24-25 "For ‘All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls off, But the word of the Lord abides forever.’ And this is the word which was preached to you."

When you meet the conditions of God's Word (confess, repent and obey) you then have complete authority over Satan and the unclean spirits related to him in Jesus' name and when you command them to go in Jesus' name, they must obey. However, we do not have authority over human spirits. That is why you must ask the Lord to sever you from them spiritually and to place a wall of the protection of His blood between you and them. He will and this should stop all attacks from their human spirits and the unclean demons they intertain.

This then begs the question that if you follow the above procedures and then still find you are under attack, you then need to go back to the Lord in prayer and ask Him to show you the root cause of your problem or what else you need to confess of Your past or present. Then just follow the 5 steps above again and repeat this as many times as you need too until you have complete freedom from any further attacks.

Susan, if you have gone through these procedures and sought the Lord and cannot find any reason why this problem continues, that means the problem may not be in you, it may be in one of the members of your house. Some times when I come under attack. I go through these same steps. If the problem continues, as I seek the Lord He shows me there is nothing wrong in my relationship with Him. If that is true, that means the problem is someone around me and in association with me. I then start talking to my staff asking if all is well. Without exception I will find out someone is having a problem, not obeying the Lord in an area of their life. Once they confess it and go through the 5 steps above the attacks stop. You see we are all connected spiritually because we are all apart of this same ministry. Because we are, what one does affects everyone else spiritually, opens doors to unclean spirits which then not only leads to harassment among the staff, but if not corrected the congregation as well (Read the Book of Joshua). So if the Lord assures you that you are okay, start talking to those around you, your family. Once you find out who it is, you then, of course in love, need to encourage and admonish them to repent and get right with the Lord. If they do not, then ask the Lord to sever you from the person spiritually as instructed above. After you pray that, pray like this:

Heavenly Father, in the name and the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I ask over me for the covering of Your Son's blood, the surrounding of Your mighty warrior angels and the overshadowing power and protection of Your Holy Spirit to protect me from this person and all unclean spirits related to his sin and rebellion in Jesus' name.

This will protect you from this family member. Also daily Anoint your house and put on the Armor of God (see this article).
