It has been a while since I have had to deal with this so I have been rereading on the subject. Silva mind control uses occult methods of accessing the spirit realm and opening oneself up to influence of unclean spirits. The language of the spirit realm is visions and dreams and the way we access the spirit realm is through blanking our mind or through visualization. Silva mind control teaches that through visualization one can access other minds. Unfortunately, these minds are simply unclean spirits masquerading as other minds. Through this method people unknowingly open themselves up to the influence and infiltration of unclean spirits.

What is wrong with Silva mind control? The only thing God wants us to meditate on is His Word and we are responsible for our own mind and are never to give it over to any entity, not even to God. We talk about turning our mind over to God, but what we mean by that is not relinquishing the control of our mind to God, but what we put in it. We turn over our mind to God to sanctify it and then ask Him to to reeducate our mind through doing something with our mind which is through the study and meditation of God’s Word. As we daily study God’s Word the Bible, we reeducate our minds. Then when we are hit with something in the world, the Holy Spirit is able to bring back to our minds what the Bible teaches on the subject and thus determine the rightness or wrongness of what we are being confronted with.

Silva mind control is Satan’s subtle way of opening us up to demonic suggestion, infiltration and control. Simply confess to the Lord your sin in getting involved in this in any capacity whether intentional or not. Thank Him for His forgiveness according to 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Then ask Jesus to refill you with His Holy Spirit according to Ephesians 5:18 "And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." Then ask Him to deliver you from all unclean spirits related and then ask Him to sever any connection you gained through Silva mind control and to put the protection of your blood from ever being influenced by any unclean spirit related again. Then exercise your authority as a believer. Pray like this:

"In Jesus’ name I bind all unclean spirits related to Silva mind control. I bind you and your mouth and command you to come out of me and off of me and be gone forever in Jesus’ name."

Satan doesn’t give up easy, so you may have to do this several times before he finally gets the message and goes away permanently. However Jesus will give you the victory as you continue in obedience to Him and continue to resist the Devil.

James 4:7 "Submit therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

2 Thessalonians 3:3 "But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one."
