*Who Is the Antichrist

• Whoever denies that Jesus is the Messiah - 1 John 2:22-23
• Whoever denies the Father and the Son - 1 John 2:22-23
• Whoever denies that Jesus is the only true God in the flesh - Isaiah 9:6, 1 John 4:1-3, 2 John 7

1 John 2:18 "Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen; from this we know that it is the last hour."

The Antichist Prophesied
Throughout the Bible

1. He will have a mouth speaking pompous words (Dan 7:8, 11; 11:36; Rev 13:1,5,6)

2. Whose appearance was greater than his fellow (Dan 7:20, 23-24)

3. He is going to make war against the Saints (Christians) (Dan 7:21)

4. He shall speak pompous words against the Most High (Dan 7:25; 11:36)

5. Then Saints shall be given into his hand for 3 1/2yrs (Dan 7:25; Rev 13:7)

6. He shall persecute/oppress the Saints (children) of the Most High (Dan 7:25)

7. A king (leader) shall arise having fierce features, who understands sinister schemes (Dan 8:23)

8. He shall be mighty but not by his own power (Dan 8:24)

9. He shall prosper and do his own pleasure (Dan 8:24)

10. He shall corrupt & destroy the mighty men & the holy people(Israel, saints) (Dan 8:24)

11. Through his policy he shall cause trickery to prosper in his hand (Dan 8:25 Amp)

12. He shall magnify himself in his heart and mind (Dan 8:25)

13. In their security he will corrupt and destroy many (Dan 8:25)

14. He shall also stand up against the Prince of princes (JESUS), (Dan 8:25)

15. He shall be broken and that by no [human] hand (Dan 8:25)

16. He shall confirm a covenant with many for one week but in the middle of the week he will bring an end to sacrifice and offering (peace covenant with Israel (Dan 9:27)

17. He will stop the offerings and sacrifices after three and one-half years (Dan 9:27, NCV)

18. He will set up a sacrilegious object that causes desecration, until the fate decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him (Dan 9:27, NCV)

19. And armed forces of his shall appear [in the holy land] and they shall pollute the sanctuary, the [spiritual] stronghold, and shall take away the continual [daily burnt offering] (Dan 11:31Amp)

20. They (A/C and his soldiers) shall set up [in the sanctuary] the abomination that astonishes and makes desolate [probably an altar to a pagan god] (Dan 11:31Amp)

21. The covenant he shall pervert and seduce with flatteries, but the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God] (Dan 11:32 Amp)

22. He shall do according to his will (Dan 11:36)

23. He shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god (Dan 11:36)

24. He shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished (Dan 11:36)

25. He shall regard neither the God of his fathers (Dan 11:37)

26. He shall regard neither the desire of a woman (Dan 11:37)

27. He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor regard any god for he shall exalt himself above them all (Dan 11:37, 2 Thess 2:4)

28. He sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God (2 Thess 2:4)

29. He shall honor a god of fortresses and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things (Dan 11:38)

30. He shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge (Dan 11:39)

31. Those who acknowledge him he shall magnify with glory and honor, and he shall cause them to rule over many and shall divide the land for a price (Dan 11:39 Amp)

32. He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels (Dan 11:43)

33. He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon (Dan 11:41)

34. He shall stretch out his hand also against the [other] countries, but the land of Egypt shall not be among the escaped ones (Dan 11:42)

35. He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels (Dan 11:43)

36. News from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate man (Dan 11:44)

37. He shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him (Dan 11:45)

38. The lawless one (the antichrist) will be revealed and the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of His mouth and bring him to an end by His appearing at His coming (2 Thess 2:8 Amp)

39. The coming [of the lawless one, the antichrist] is through the activity and working of Satan and will be attended by great power and with all sorts of [pretended] miracles and signs and delusive marvels--[all of them] lying wonders-- (2 Thess 2:9 Amp)

40. He was given authority to continue for forty-two months (Rev 13:5)

41. He will cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed (Rev 13:15)

42. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or[f] the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Rev 13:16-17)

Isaiah 9:6 "For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty-El, Father-of-Eternity, Prince-of-Peace."

1 John 2:22-23 “Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.”

2 John 7 "For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus-Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist."

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 “Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord-Jesus-Christ, and our gathering together to Him, that you may not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God (Daniel 9:27). Do you not remember that while I was with you, I was telling you these things? And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he may be revealed. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. And for this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they might believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.”

Daniel 9:27 "And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate."

And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed."
