Jesus Is the Chief
Cornerstone

__________

*Jesus Is the Chief Cornerstone

Psalm 118:22-23 “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This is Yehovah’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.”

Matthew 21:42-44 “Jesus said to them, ‘Did you never read in the Scriptures, “The stone which the builders rejected, this became the chief cornerstone; this came about from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes”? Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and be given to a nation producing the fruit of it. And he who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust.’”

Mark 12:10-11 “Have you not even read the Scripture: ‘The Stone which the builders rejected, this became the chief corner stone; this came about from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?”

Luke 20:17 “But He looked at them and said, ‘What then is this that is written, “The stone which the builders rejected, this became the chief corner stone”? Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust.”

Acts 4:11 “let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus-Christ-the-Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by this name this man stands here before you in good health. He is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became the very corner stone. And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.”

Ephesians 2:17-22 “And He came and preached peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near, for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household. having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building being fitted together is growing into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.

1 Peter 2:4-8 “And coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected by men, but choice and precious in the sight of God. you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For this is contained in Scripture: ‘Behold I lay in Zion a choice Stone, a precious corner stone, and he who believes in Him shall not be disappointed.’ This precious value, then, is for you who believe. But for those who disbelieve, ‘The stone which the builders rejected, this became the very corner stone,’ and, ‘A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense’; for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this they were also appointed.”
