Fear

__________

*Do Not Be Afraid of Fear

Proverbs 3:25-26 “Do not be afraid of sudden fear, nor of the onslaught of the wicked when it comes; for Yehovah will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught.”

Psalm 27:1 “Yehovah is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Yehovah is the fortress of my life; whom shall I dread?”

Matthew 10:28 “And do not fear those who kill the body, but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

Hebrews 13:5-6 “Let your character be free from the love of money, being content with what you have, for He Himself has said, ‘I will never ever desert you, nor will I ever, ever, ever forsake you,’ so that we confidently say, ‘The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What shall man do to me?’”

1 Peter 3:13-14 “And who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good? But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled.”

Revelation 2:9-11 “I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy by those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.”

Revelation 2:10 “Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”

Romans 13:3-4 “For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same; for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath upon the one who practices evil.

1 Corinthians 2:3-5 “And I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling. And my word and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.”

2 Corinthians 5:9-11 “Therefore also we endeavour earnestly, whether at home or absent, to be happily-pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body whether good or bad. Therefore knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men.”

2 Corinthians 6:17-17, 7:1 “‘Therefore, come out from their midst and be separated,’ says the Lord. ‘And do not touch what is unclean, and I will welcome you. Philippians 2:12-13 “So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.”

Hebrews 3:18-19, 4:1 “And to whom did He swear that they should not enter His rest, but to those who did-not-obey? And so we see that they were not able to enter because of unbelief. . . . Therefore, let us fear lest, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you should seem to have come short of it.”
