Satan Exposed

*Satan Is a Cherub

Ezekiel 28:14 “You were the anointed cherub who covers, and I placed you there. You were on the holy mountain of Elohim; you walked in the midst of the stones of fire.

*Description of Satan

Ezekiel 28:12-19 “Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and say to him, ‘Thus says Adonai-Yehovah, “You had the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of Elohim; every precious stone was your covering: the ruby, the topaz, and the diamond; the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper; the lapis lazuli, the turquoise, and the emerald; and the gold, the workmanship of your settings and sockets, was in you. On the day that you were created they were prepared. You were the anointed cherub who covers, and I placed you there. You were on the holy mountain of Elohim; you walked in the midst of the stones of fire. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you. By the abundance of your trade you were internally filled with violence, and you sinned; therefore I have cast you as profane from the mountain of Elohim. And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Your-heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I put you before kings, that they may see you. By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your trade, you profaned your sanctuaries. Therefore I have brought fire from the midst of you; it has consumed you, and I have turned you to ashes on the earth in the eyes of all who see you. All who know you among the peoples are appalled at you; you have become terrified, and you will be no more.”’”

*He Has Access to Heaven

Job 1:6 “Now there was a day when the sons of Elohim came to present themselves before Yehovah, and Satan also came among them.”

*He Roams the Earth

Job 1:7 “And Yehovah said to Satan, ‘From where do you come?’ Then Satan answered Yehovah and said, ‘From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.’”

*God of this World

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 “And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder for Satan transforms himself into an angel of light. It is not a great thing then if his ministers transform themselves as ministers of righteousness; whose end will be according to their works.”

*He Accuses Us Before God

Job 1:8-11 “And Yehovah said to Satan, ‘Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing Elohim and turning away from evil.’ Then Satan answered Yehovah, ‘Does Job fear Elohim for nothing? Hast You not made a hedge about him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You hast blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But put forth Thy hand now and touch all that he has; he will surely curse You to Thy face.’”

1 Peter 5:8-10 “Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.”

And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he should not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.”

Revelation 20:7-10 “And when the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison, and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore. And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”
