They Seek to Destroy Churches *They Seek to Destroy the Churches Acts 20:28-31 “Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for a period of three years I did not cease to admonish each one with tears.” 2 Cor 11:13-15 “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder for Satan transforms himself into an angel of light. It is not a great thing then if his ministers transform themselves as ministers of righteousness; whose end will be according to their works.” Jude 4 “For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.” *Eight Ways They Seek to Destroy the Church 1. Professing Jesus as Savior, but not the Jesus of the Bible. 2. Build credibility in the church. 4. Spread false rumors, create dissension and strife. 5. Change and teach False Doctrines. 7. Stop all accurate teaching about Satan. 8. Attack directly through witchcraft key members of the church. __________ 1. Professing Jesus as Savior, but not the Jesus of the Bible. 2 Cor 11:4 “For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully.” 2 Cor 11:13-15 “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder for Satan transforms himself into an angel of light. Build credibility in the church. Ephesians 6:18 “With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.” 1 Tim 2:1-4 “First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, in order that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Matthew 26:41 “Keep watching and praying, that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 4. Spread false rumors, create dissension and strife. Proverbs 6:12 “A worthless person, a wicked man, is the one who walks with a false mouth” Proverbs 20:19 “He who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets, therefore do not associate with a gossip.” 1 Corinthians 5:11 “But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he should be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler-not even to eat with such a one.” Romans 16:19 “I want to be wise in what is good, and innocent in what is evil.” 1 Thessalonians 5:22 “Abstain from every form of evil.” 5. Change and teach False Doctrines. -You need to pray for God’s will in who teaches Sunday School, discernment of who is a Satanist and who is not. -Place in leadership who the Holy Spirit designates, no one else Acts 13:2-4 “And while they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy-Spirit said, ‘Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’ Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. So, being sent out by the Holy-Spirit, they went down to Seleucia and from there they sailed to Cyprus.” -Families should worship in church together -The Church should have programs and retreats which include the parents together, not separte mother and father. -Programs in the church need to be family centered and involved, not separated. 7. Stop all accurate teaching about Satan. -One of the main goals of Satan is to prevent any teaching about him or his activities. -Satanists are commanded to prevent any teaching about Satan within the churches they attend. -The argument is that talking about Satan will give glory to him instead of the Lord, but God’s word says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6) -The people who complain loudest in the Church about teaching about Satan are very likely Satanists 2 Cor 2:11 “In order that no advantage be taken of us by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his schemes.” Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” 1 Peter 5:8 “Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” John 3:19-21 “And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.” 8. Attack directly through witchcraft key members of the church. -This is why Prayer in the Church is so important, prayer for protection of the leadership from attack. |
