And whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me; but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it is better for him that a heavy millstone of an ass be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to that man through whom the stumbling block comes!" Luke 17:1-3 "And He said to his disciples, ‘It is inevitable that stumbling blocks should come, but woe to him through whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble. Take heed to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him." Matthew 24:13 "But the one who endures to the end will be saved." Mark 13:13 "And you will be hated by all on account of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he shall be saved."
